It's very difficult to take pictures from horseback in the Gobi Desert ... simply because there is no horse in the major part of the desert itself. Indeed, the Gobi Desert is a huge region that goes far in Southern Mongolia. In these regions, climate is too dry for horses, you will only find camels.

If you want to ride a horse in Gobi Desert landscapes, you have to go to the Northern part of the Gobi Desert, at the border with steppe regions, where you can find both horses and camels.
